Spearmint Oil is a natural mild mint essential oil extracted by steam distillation from the whole plant of Mentha spicata L., appearing as a pale yellow to pale green liquid, with a sweet and mild cool aroma, rich in carvone (about 60%). It has a relative density of 0.920-0.970/25℃, specific rotation -45°~-60°, CAS 8008-79-5, FEMA 3045 certified. Compared with peppermint oil, it is milder and non-irritating, widely used in oral care products (toothpaste, mouthwash), food confectionery, beverages and daily chemical essences.
